So for the summer im on the grape fruit diet and im also runing and walking a mile a day. I also do cardieo. Which I finds that very fun! So im doing really good. But I dont really know if im doing this for muhself or for others to like me more. Even the guys say I will be hot if I lose weight... what do u think?

Well you are enjoying that, and thats good. People will always have their ideal standard of what they think physical beauty is, and as women we tend to aspire to that a lot of the time. I don't think its always because someone else thinks its pretty. I think its because deep down inside, we do too. I would say lose it if you feel comfortable in doing so, and if it will make you feel better about yourself. I know I am trying to lose for that very reason, because I know I will feel better about myself once I do. I'm glad you're having fun, and I know that you will be very proud of your accomplishments by the end of the summer.

Nobody can tell you with much certainty why you are doing what you are doing. What we can tell you is why you should be doing this.

Being a personal trainer, and having dealt with my own personal fitness, I can relate. You need to lose the weight for yourself. You will be more successful, and you will feel better about it in the long-run. I am sure that there are boys who will say anything about anyone at any time, but that does not matter. You need to think about your health and your happiness, not theirs.

It sounds like you have a great plan going so far, and I say, "Keep it up!" Just make sure it's for you and nobody else.

People should like you for who you are regardless of how much you weigh. If you decide to lose weight let it be because you want to feel better and live a healthy lifestyle. I would speak to your doctor regarding what you should eat. You are going to faint or get really sick if you stick to simply to the grapefruit diet.

Even if you are doing this for others, you are going to benefit from it so I would say keep it up. The long term reprecussions from being overweight will really take their toll. I wish you the best of luck with it.

Do it for others and you will fail. Do it for yourself and with a little perseverance and tenacity you will succeed.
