Just a minute. The WatchTower is not christian. Now I know a good counseling service you can call - It's focus on the family. they have a website as well. the no.# is 1-800-A-FAMILY. Last yr. they answered more than 622,000 pnone calls who were desperately searching for help & could find nowhere else to turn.
Provide proffessional phone counseling free to more than 16,500 people who contacted them with urgent needs.
Distributed more than $5.5 million worth of resources & helpful info. @ no charge worldwide
Reach more than 220 million people per day in 161 countries. - you get the point.
They do not discriminate in any way.
About the other- What christians mean when they say "non-believer is that you don't believe in our faith. & :personal relationship w/ Christ " means that God is a personal God, & wants a personal relationship w/ Him, talking to Him, reading the Bible, etc... Christian org.s should never refuse people of different faiths. God loves everyone, & christians are supposed to as well. But the thing is is that we are human - just like the next guy. Some times we goof - some times you'll meet people who just don't care. Some of us really try tho. Sorry about the rest.

They couldn't help you because you're not brain washed the way they are. Most born again Christians are recovering (insert something you'd get lost in) addicts. They basically trade in their addictions for christ and so Christ becomes a new drug for them the only difference being it's somewhat socially acceptable.
You not having a personal relationship with christ means that you dont have something you identify as christ that you're addicted to in your life. Funny thing is, if you got these people together they couldn't help you define what christ is, but yet somehow they all have the same thing in their life even though some will say christ does this and doesn't do this while others will say the opposite.
So what's a non believer in this case? Someone who is much less likely to be a moron.

It was unfortunate that they could not help you. The word non-believer, I define, as a person who does not believe that Jesus died for his/her sins and that God rose him from the dead. And that is ALL you need to believe to be saved.
I think that some people think that Catholics are not Christians, because some Catholics pray to saints.
There is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 5:8. Knowing and understanding that is a personal relationship with Christ.

I'm a born again christian and I don't judge others. U can be Catholic, Proterstant, or otherwise. The Christians that act like that are not being true to sharing the gospel and the whole idea of dicipleship....... I just have one request please don't bunch all 'born-again' christians into the same basket. We are not all judgemental etc.

Threebluespiders is absolutely right. Focus on the Family is great. Watchtower is not Christian. All true Christians are still people and we still have faults.
If you truly want to have a personal relationship with God He will help you see the truth and welcome you with open arms. If some people wear the Christian name poorly it does not mean that God is not true and right.

We Catholics are believers. We are "born again" when we are Baptized. Tell them, "Duh, I do have a personal relationship with Christ, I'm a part of His spiritual family. As are all Catholics and any properly Baptized protestants."
Look friend, you need to learn apologetics in order to defend your beliefs. Otherwise, one of these cults that call themselves Christians, might pull you in.

I was told the same thing, I am Catholic and they told me I was not a Christian. At least Catholics are accepting of others.

You need to be born again like the Bible says. The catholic church does not usually teach this, but I have known of born again catholics too. You need some Bible teaching on this and it can not be done here..
