Unless you live in Alaska or Montana, there are too many people here, mostly new immigrants. Shouldn't we close the doors for at least five years? This country is being drained dry by these people.
And - forget the racist, bigot remarks. This is reality. If you're one of the immigrants, I'm sure you'd have a different perspective than an American born citizen with American born parents. This country is a mess!
And please don't reply in your stupid, broken, crude English!

The immigrants cominng here today are not the same as the ones that arrived 50-100 years ago. They weren't freeloaders and they assimilated into the "American way of life", unlike the people of today. Too many arrive with their hands out. We got along for 200 years without the illegals and did just fine. The "work" always got done, believe it or not. And we didn't have the massive over-crowding and humongous traffic jams we have today. My "feeble" mind has been opened; that's where my opinion comes from. Just look at the faces on the evening news about crime stories, and watch America's Most Wanted. Facts are facts.

You don't have to ask me twice----yes !!!!!!

I would like to see land for wildlife and parks. I would like to know we can support the people here with food if we had too. And there would be enough grazing land for lifestock . And Medical for all. And a place for all to rest.

This country is a mess of its own problems-and closing that door for a few years would help.

Sorry for my crude English.

America for Americans damit... Well no... Compared to India, China or Japan were doing quite nicely. What will closing the Doors for 5 years do? It will increase the amount of illegal immigration for one thing. And sense were boosting up on border patrol, illegal immigrants will take harder, more dangerous routes that will lead to deaths. Until other countries economies and governments improve from the currupt goverments they are immigration won't change. (Not talking about only China Japan and/or India) And the only things immigrants really do is do the Jobs Americans don't want... PS. I am American born, white, person from a Well off family.

Edit: Also this country was founded on Immigrants... Without Immigrants the industrial revolution wouldnt happen... many social movements wouldnt happen... The North might have lost the Civil War... If you really look into it, its surprising what immigrants have done for us.

Why don't you move to Alaska.

Oh wait, you will find something to moan about there too.

You don't need to worry about immigrants, legal or illegal, taking over the country, they already have in case you hadn't noticed.

Your a little to late in asking to close the borders for five years.

By the way, I am Mexican and I don't speak with stupid, broken and crude English, open up your feeble mind and find out what's really going on in this country.

Yes. I want to move to Asia.

What's wrong with immigrants? All of our ancestors were immigrants when the English first came over here, and it is a good idea to have diversity in a country so we can learn to be more open-minded about different cultures and religions.

English is not the most important language; all languages are important, and Americans should try to learn at least one foreign language.

Human beings are a virus which has spread across the entire planet. They multiply uncontrolled and consume all the natural resources in their environment, when the environment can no longer support them they move on to a new environment Now that we have exceeded the earths carrying capacity for our species we must continue to look for a new environment, the only option is space. We must spread to other planets to lighten the load in the earth, before we completely destroy it. Another reason is, if we keep all of man kind on this planet, a single planetary disaster would wipe us out. If we had other planets to hold our population, this would not be as much of a problem

yes America is becoming over populated that is why they wage wars and kill off pop plus no work in construction is running out so they know they don't have jobs for the immigrants too work so they want to send them back as well and if you move to any big city you can see that its way over populated they build condos instead of homes and threes not even room to drive down the street

I would say we have a good population at the moment. We are a well diversified country at this point. Lets quit cutting down the trees
to build more houses and apartments. Why keep pouring if the cup is full?

No, look at Califonia which is supposedly the most populated state... there are a bunch of people in the two major cities, LA and SF, but besides that there is a ton of open space, we're fine
