It's not a good idea to wash your hair twice a day or even everyday unless your hair is really oily, but in this case I think not washing after swimming would be more harmful. It is important to wash hair ASAP after swimming to remove the chlorine. That said, is there a way you could wash your hair after swimming and not again in the morning? Cutting back on washing your hair when you can will help alot since everytime you wash your hair you are stipping out your hair's natural moisture and oils that protect your hair and keep your hair from drying out. Make sure you get a gentle shampoo to use when you aren't removing chlorine and a good conditioner to replace all that moisture. I suggest getting a trim every 4-6 wks to keep ends from splitting so much while you are swimming and with all that washing.

washing your hair strips it of natural oils If you are washing it twice a day every day it is especially harsh on your hair. I would suggest getting your hair wet before you go into the pool so it doesn't absorb as much chlorine water; you could even use leave in conditioner.

As a stylist use salon shampoos only, and a really good conditioner! Also if your hair is long keep up with those trims to prevent your dry ends from splitting and costing you a more lengthy trim in the future. If you are following this you should be o.k.

Nope.
As long as you're not using a treatment/intensive care shampoo. If it's a normal shampoo, it should be okay cos then you don't put so much chemical on your hair.
