Haha, this is so funny! I doubt you'd find any belly buttons on your dog... BUT, if you have a *female*, you'll find six little nippies lined up on her tummy!!

Obviously, the belly button on dogs is not as easy to find. It is typically a small bump on the belly, not far below the V-shape made by the rib cage.

Flip him/her over on it's back and gently feel around the area I just described with your index finger. When you feel a small bump, that is the belly button!

Yes dogs do have belly buttons lol

They had an ambilical cord at birth same as any other mammal. It should be located just below the top 4 nipples.

Right under the rib cage on the stomach. It's up pretty high compared to human belly buttons, but if you look carefully, you can see it. It looks like a little dimple.

same place as all mammals ,
same place as yours,
new born puppies walk around for quite a while with a piece fo string hanging from their belly until the mother often bites it of
so you wont see very much ,but you can feel it

on its belly. when dogs grow, the belly stretches it out, but if you rub his or her belly, kind of in the middle, you will feel it as a little knot or twist under the skin.
