When I was younger I use to laugh about the music my parents listened to and the clothes they wore. Now I find myself listening to 60/70's music and wearing some of the styles. I even go to a store that sells vintage clothes from the 60's and 70's.

So I was wondering like when my daughters are older what will they think about music I use to listen to or how I use to dress, and tease my hair. How do I explain Vanilla Ice or Milli Vinilli to them. I have a hard time explaining that one to myself. What will they think or learn about the ways of the world today?

What will music, fashion, and the world be like in 2018?

Yeh, they'll probably think the music you listened to was weird or funny. My kids do that to me, and I say, hey that was a GREAT song... and yes, I also listened to Vanilla Ice and Milli Vinilli LOL.
Oh, and just to add to the fun,
When those songs come on I crank up the radio!

As a Pagan, if I ever have children, I intend to teach them about Nature and how we are just as much a part of it as a plant or the sun or the moon. I will teach them that the Earth is our mother and that everything is alive and has spirit. I will let them know that faeries exist and that they can talk to the trees. I will tell them that the animals are our brothers and sisters and that they deserve our respect. They will learn that they are a relfection of the Universe and that all it's wisdom is within them. They will not be brought up in any religion but in the Nature faith that, I think, is completely healthy and logical.

Don't worry, you just gotta keep changin with the times. But if you do that, you won't be nobody, a fad-chaser with no set identity. So just stick to what you like and be proud of it. It's all about whether we got what it takes to KEEP it real, which the previous generations probably couldn't. We gotta hang on to it, or we just sore losers, and we gon be wiped out by anotha stupid little fad.

they will think you're a dinosaur, but every time they hear something that you used to play they'll think of you. And it's hard to explain Vaniila Ice or Milli Vinilli anyhow!

If we don't win this war, the styles will be head to toe burkas for the women and robes, beards and turbans for the men.

They won't want you to explain; they'll just wish that you would go away with your incredibly uncool and unhip music, you ANCIENT FOSSIL JEEZZZZ!

But eventually they'll remember that they love you.

Best wishes and God bless.
