Iraq is making progress, they're making progress in being able to defend itself, it'll hopefully soon be able to defend itself completly so we can leave.

The problem is that it is not a war it is a occupation. Wars you can win and Americans don`t like loosing wars. It might be a war but only similar to the war on drugs or the war on poverty. Iraq is an occupation, you have to "Cut and Run" from occupations that is how you win an occupation just like Japan and Germany in post WWII. The WAR was over when we took out Saddam's government. What would Americans do it some other country wanted to occupy the land, I would want them to leave as soon as possible. Actually I would be an insurgent

Iraq can't defend them selves! They can't even purge the army and police of radicals!
