Sharp pains in the lower right quarter could be your appendix. My anatomy teacher/nurse said that she worked with a doctor that could tell right away if it was appendicitis. If you can hop on your right foot you are fine, if you can't go to the hospital right away.

Your gallbladder is in your right upper quadrant. If you suspect that it is go and see your doctor and he will feel for it and you will know right away to.

Gas could be a possibility too, making you cramp up. Or even a mild food poisoning - but then you would feel it move from one side to the other over a period of time.

I hope you are feeling better - try hopping on your foot right away :D

What side? If it's on your right side under your ribs, it might be your appendix. If that sounds like it could be, go to the hospital right away. It's very serious if it busts.

Other than that, it could be your gallbladder. If it keeps up, go to the doctor. They might do an ultra-sound to see if everything is okay. I've had one for that. Not bad at all.

If you are having pain in your stomach area and it has been going on for a while - you need to see your doctor.

Yeah. I get the same thing. I have peptic ulcers in mine. See the doc. He'll give you some meds to help you out. Stay away from the spicy foods and alcoholic beverages too if you can.

Not too normal--if it happens often and without any just cause--so go see a doctor. It could be a number of things.

It may be signs of appendicitis. If it gets worse, go to the emergency room.
