Why does everyone tell me i am too young to know what love is? Does anyone really know what love is? And if so, why should age matter.

It's not a question of can you feel love at a young age. It's a question of do you fully understand the responsibilities that come with true love, family and future.

I was 16 and in love with a 22 year old... and I remember my parents telling me that I was too young to know what love is... I took a chance at it and we are now married and have a baby on the way.... In my own opinion, age don't really matter.

I don't think that you are ever too young for love in fact young love may be the purest of all however you have to be realistic in that it's difficult for young love to stand the test of time as it's challenging to adapt of the changes that are sure to happen as you become older. I met my husband when I was 15 and 13 years later we are still together and still in love. We were lucky in that we always assumed new roles as we changed through the years and kept honest communication as a priority. Follow your heart even if it's wrong.....the journey will be worth it!

Love is something very horrible , disaster , danger.You should not know a bout it to the rest of your life. No love is not like that . Anyway, mostly teenager are very extremely in their emotions either to love you so much or to heat you so much . When they grow up they discover that it was just a fake . good luck .Lord be with you

it doesnt...no one can say when someone is in love..you can 5 and be in love..it dont matter ..love is love and no one can change that ...why does it matter what age u r? if you know that you love this person and everything about them...then y dont you love them? tell those ppl to f*** off becuz i am having the same problem..im 15 and very in love and ppl say i dont even know what love is..i think they dont know what love is!

Age ain't nu thin but a number.Think of the saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover" meaning it's not what's just on the outside it's what's on the inside as well.

I think it doesnt really take an age to be in love...because you can be in love and not know it..but I think it does take a level of maturity to know what it is.

age matters cause they say u need to have ahd experience and u haven't lived ur life and don't know anything thats what I'm told too but I've given up on that fight

It's a very large learning curve.
Some people die and not know true love.
