I lived with my grandparents growing up, and was just one of their 26 grandchildren. It was loads of fun when everyone came together at our house.

One Christmas I remember the best, everyone in the family was there to celebrate. Us kids were camped out everywhere - sleeping bags under the kitchen table, all over the livingroom, etc. 26 kids ranging in age from infants to late teens.

When we woke up on Christmas morning, every inch of floorspace in the house was covered in white balloons with Christmas trees on them - even on top of us kids. The adults had stayed up late into the night to prepare this joy for us to wake up to, and we all fully appreciated it. All of us, even the "old" kids, spent hours scrambling around on our knees chasing each other and the balloons, laughing hysterically. Launching balloons at each other, dodging the incoming ones - it truly was joy on Christmas.

There were no fights - amazing with that many children in one place - and we all have the happiest memories of that morning.

There are so many it is hard to pick one!
Christmas time. Any of the days near it when all of us are at my parents house. We play games and sit and talk; now we watch the little kids play. It is always great. There are 6 of us, and we keep in touch but live far apart now.

The winter i was 6 my entire family had this really bad cold and flu stuff. my mother, sister and I all used puffs and my father used handkerchiefs. We were all sitting in front of the fireplace throwing our used puffs in the fire. My father pulled out his handkerchief, blow his nose, and then throw it in the fire before he could realize what he'd done. the look on his face was priceless and we laughed so hard. I can remember it so vividly and that was 18 years ago.

great question by the way!!!!!
