I've layered just plain JELLO before so thats the easy part. I wanna do an American theme for July 4th. But don't know what to use for the white part or how to get it firm between the red and blue. Thanks

WHITE GELATIN
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1 (.25 ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin
1/3 cup boiling water
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and well blended. In a separate bowl, dissolve the gelatin in boiling water. Stir into the cream cheese mixture along with the milk, lemon juice and vanilla. Fold in the whipped topping. Pour into a mold if desired, and refrigerate until set, about 3 hours.

you could use sweetened gelatin not flavored to get a clear layer. Or you could use vanilla pudding to get it white. Either way you will have to let each layer chill before you add on the next one. You could also let them partially chill and then swirl then together to get a more colorful integrated look.

For white I would try coconut milk. For stripes, I would consider cutting strips off of a solid sheet of jello.

Marshmello cream? I think Kraft makes it.
