You're just fine. I was only an inch shorter when I was your age, and 130 lbs. I thought I was fat, but that was a misperception because all my friends had not grown as fast as I had. Your weight is completely healthy.
Become more physically active. Ride a bike, go on long walks with your friends instead of getting rides. Building more muscle tone and shedding some of the fat that might make you feel overweight, will not only make you look better, but it will make you feel better. And that will help your self-image more than anything :)
Another thing, most girls lie about their weight. If there are girls your same height saying they weigh 110, they had better be skin and bone.

If you're 5'10", then 140 is right in your "normal" weight range, which would be about 135-150. You could ask your doctor if you don't trust our answers, but you sound just right to me!

Laciana- are you trying to get really discusting, hairy, 45 year old men to start stalking you online? Cause that's what you are doing by asking a question like this- all the old perverts online are looking at this question right now and making a note of your username. Same with all you other little kids that are talking about how you are like 12 and weight 100 lbs or whatever. Watch out guys, you don't know who is out there and it's not a good idea to post you age and weight on these things unless your like 45 and 250lbs.

Sounds pretty normal to me. 5'10" is a fairly tall girl, so don't go by the anorexics in figuring your ideal weight. If you are overweight by the standards of the insurance company charts, it's probably only just enough to be technically over.
Please girls, stop obsessing about weight! Get good exercise, be healthy, and stop checking the scales every darn day!

no you are not. i am 5'11 " and I am 155 pounds. (after two pregnancies)For your height, and age 140 is fine. remember we are tall gals! .If you were very short 140 would be fat. Be careful not to fall into bulimia or anorexia.

your weight doesnt matter. If you think you look good the way you are, it wouldnt matter if you were 140 pounds or 1140 pounds (okay well it would because its not exactly healthy to be 1140 but you get my point)

i'm 24, 5'5 and 143. in my opinion i might desire to have adequate funds to lose some kilos, as might desire to you likely, yet no you're actually not obese or risky. that's good to have slightly meat on the bones.
