Sorry but this is an irrelevant question. The U.S armed forces are a volunteer force therefore everybody in Iraq has volunteered to serve.

If any son or daughter of a congressman has volunteered to join the military they will do their turn over there.

Therefore the question should be how many troops in the armed forces are sons and daughters of congress men and women.

Even then I don't know what the answer would prove as everyone is a volunteer.

There are 7 and all are not officers. At least one is a Staff Sgt.
5 Republicans & 2 Democrats. No surprise there. Percentage wise it is more than the average US population serving.

Few. However if you went to any fortune 500 firm and polled 535 people the results would not change much. So whats your point, it's a Volunter service. I did & would again if needed.

it doesnt matter because no matter who volunteers for the military will go to war if needed. remember people volunteer for the military not drafted currently. all the people crying over sons and daughters having killed in iraq should remember they didnt have to volunteer to jion the military. simple as that.

None. Rich people are worth too much to put their own lives or the lives of their loved ones in the line of fire in the wars they declare.

On the other hand, we the 'citizens' (read: serfs) are expendable.
