I had boyfriend and he used to call me everyday, but a while later he stop calling. I haven't heard from him in 4 1/2 months.

It all depends on how prideful you are. Of course everyone expects many calls for their birthday, but this does not necessarily mean it is mandatory. Think back on how things were with him; was he ever rude in any way? Do you think he deserves a call from you? Will your call make him happy? If there is a chance that it will, make sure that he does not misinterpret things. I don't know what the reasons where for him to commit his actions, but whatever reason they were for, don't hold any grudges and be understanding when speaking of "moving on". It would be a lot easier if we knew how you felt towards this situation. As of right now, i am assuming that you have no hard feelings towards him for not calling, so just saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY as "friends" wouldn't be to bad of an idea.

Sure give him a call. He probably stop calling because he's probably dating someone now, but you just want to wish him a happy birthday. If you call and he does not sound receptive then you know not to call again. You're not doing anything wrong by calling...you just gotta get over the akwardness.

it seems to me that u r still into that guy so go gurl give it to him it will not kill or send you to hell just for a call to him and say happy birthday on the contrary it shows that you r a good person in heart and care for others even though that u r far apart.

Depends where you're at. Chances are he has moved on. Where are you? What are you feeling? What would the purpose of you calling? Just to say happy b-day? Or are you going fishing?

if its only to say happy b-day but if its been 4 1/2 months he's probably moved on so anything else probably wouldnt be wise. good luck

He doesn't deserve you. It was obvious from the beginning that you are way too good for him. Not only are you so much better looking, but you're smarter, funnier and you dress better than he does. Let him wallow in mediocrity and you can go on being amazing without him.

it wouldnt hurt to send him a card but callin him might be a bit aqward, it would b for me @ least. maybe he is feelin the same way about u as u r about him...so if i were u id play it safe & send him a card. then see if he calls or emails or tries to say thankyou in some way. good luck!

You could maybe send him a card or something? Then he'll call you if he wants to. Its just a nice thing to do.
