You really haven't provided enough information.

You know your dog better than anyone, if he/she isn't acting normal and you are concerned, then yes, you should take her to the vet. I wouldn't do an emergency call based on the information provided, but you do need to call and make an appointment.

How old is the dog? He could of over exerted himself, or to long without water, or tore a muscle, arthritis, suffered a stroke. If it has been longer than a few days and there is not improvement I would definitely take to the vet. The no drinking part has me worried. Hope he will be okay.

Definetly. Depression could be a sign of parvo or other virus. Eating and drinking is a really big deal. Dogs can be dehyrated very quickly and will die from it. Not eating will lead to malnutirtion. If your dog is a PUPPY then definety because you are not suppose to take it out for a long weekend so please take your pet to the vet.

I would call the vet and leave a message for the vet to call you back. This way you can do an over the phone consult, you will save money if you don't have to go in.

Bring the dog to a vet right away, since it's not eating or drinking--at the least, it's going to be dehydrated very quickly. So call tomorrow and explain the symptoms, and see if they can fit you in.

It could be something minor, or it could be something serious--only your vet can figure it out.

when he asks!

Okay seriously did you do a lot this weekend like hiking or something where he may be worn out. Give him a day or two to recover. If it was just a regular weekend I would get him to the vet tomorrow (or now if it's not to late where you are)...it sounds like something is bothering him.

take the dog to the vet. I have two very energetic pitbulls and the youngest one was that way so I took them to the vet and they gave her some medicine and she was up and bouncing aroud no more than an hour later

OMG! No, your dog needs immediate veterinary care! Anytime an animal stops eating and drinking, it means that there is a serious, serious problem!
You have not provided enough details for me to even begin to have an idea of what may be wrong with him/her so I can't offer you any more help.
Please take him to a 24 hour emergency clinic! If you wait any longer it may be to late.
