Apparently so.

Wikipedia says that when death occurs, "a loss of control of urine and/or bowels may occur"

so its a good thing elvis died on the toilet, huh? lol.

At the moment of death there is total relaxation of all musculature. Therefore, if there is urine in the bladder and fecal material in the rectum, both will likely be expelled. It's called gravity, kiddo.

It depends. I just watched someone die who had stomach cancer and couldn't eat for weeks, so nothing came out when he died. If there is something there, then it will come out.

Quite often your bowels and bladder do let go so yes it happens often when you pass over.

Not all corpses loose content after death, It matters as to when they last defecated and urinated. Please don't believe old wives tales.

yes. It is because your blood stops flowing and all your muscles relax thus letting EVERYTHING loose.
