If you get convicted, you probably will.

First off you need to stop stealing. And yes if convicted you could go to Juvi. More than likely you will just have to do some community service.
I think you should try working for a living and not stealing. Thiefs cost of honest people a lot of money indirectly, cost for security, costs passed on to cover the items stolen.
Be thankful the first time nothing happened to you.
Check yourself and get it together and stop stealing!

The first time doesn't count because you weren't charged.
I have a question for you:" How many times do you have to get caught before you learn your lesson?"
If you are worried about Juvenile Detention, what are you going to do when you're 18? Then it won't be Juvenile anymore. You'll go to jail, have a permanent record, and lose certain priviledges because of your record.
I hope for you that you realize that shoplifting is for losers before it's too late.

girl grow up! If you really need something then get a job and earn money to buy it. How responsible and mature do you think you are? not much in my opinion. Whatever you steal someone will have to pay for in some way so get a job or earn some money and then you can buy all the fun stuff you like without the fear of getting caught from stealing.

In California if you are caught shoplifting and you have prior convictions for petty theft it becomes a felony. then you would definitely go to Juvenile hall. the best thing is to not even do it. besides the legal problems you can be held to civil liability. that means that your parents can be sued. I know of a kid that got caught shoplifting and his parents had to pay the store $500.00. the smart thing is to stop while your ahead.

give it up how many times do you have to be caught what you do means us shoppers have to foot the bill in the prices we pay, the problem is you only get a slap on the wrist give it up before you get older and it gets more serious you will be looking at a bit more than juvi then

If you are convicted you could get some time. If the value was $50.00 the judge might give you community service hours.

Why don't you just go out and rob a quick-stop store, take the money and pay cash for the jewelry?
What a dork!
