This question DOES have an answer. The answer is that since souls do not exist, no soul would be entering another's body. When, yes WHEN, a human is cloned (unfortunately someone WILL do it), the clone will have the same genes. They will look alike and theirs traits that are determined by genetics and not environment will likely be the same as well. However, they will still be two different human beings. Both are still alive and the clone will be a baby. You won't feel any different. Why would you? There are many ethical implications involved with cloning. It would be sort of like identical twins (who share same DNA and fingerprints etc) but the result would be very odd indeed especially if the two talked to one another. How alike would they be?

The sci-fi idea of teleportation works similar to your question about cloning.

One idea people had about how to teleport someone was to "disintegrate" the body on this end, send a blueprint of you to the teleporter machine at the other end, and "recreate" the body there.

But is that really you at the other end? No one is really sure on that point -- because "you" existed here, and so your "soul" presumably stays here as well, while a machine recreates a physical "you" perhaps thousands or millions of miles away.

If it is physically the same as you, the "you" at the other end will have all the same memories, mannerisms, behavior, and so forth. It will look to everyone ELSE as if "you" were teleported -- they wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

And the version of "you" created at the other end would have your memory of being teleported, so that version of "you" would think the teleportation had been a success.

But it seems like the real you would still be back here at this end, a little pile of dust, and a non-original you would have taken your place. Only you, the deceased "you," would know what happened.

Teleportation is the same as cloning if you consider this: What if the teleporter is programmed to not disintegrate your body at this end, while your blueprints are sent to the other end and used to make another you?

Now there are two "you"'s in existence. You are back here, while a duplicate you exists elsewhere.

And one would think that the two of you are now different people, starting from this point forward.

Whatever comprises "you" (your soul, your personality, your "center of consciousness") would seem to be back in the original body, and a new person would exist in the clone.

if cloning was possible all a clone would be is a twin.twins have the same physical feature and the same dna .sharing the same biology dont mean that two phisical speciments are the same speciment.just because something or someone had the same biology as yours dont mean thats you.
