Your body proportions are genetic. You can lose weight and tone up but your butt will always be basically the same shape (even if it gets smaller).

The truth is, that weight training is GREAT for your butt. Girls with flat butts do it to make their rounder and higher..so you won't lose your butt, though you may lose some of the cellulite and jiggle.

All in all, you'll look hot!

Talk to a good trainer about setting you up on a weight lifting routine. It is the fastest way to tone and you can change it up to work different areas of your body to get the shape you want.

After 25 years of lifting..my bootilicious is still a'rockin'.

If anything, your butt should get tighter, not smaller, if you tone up. Try squats and the stair climber along with whatever else you are going to do.
