When you stand up too fast you have a sudden drop in blood pressure which can cause you to be light headed. It can happen to anyone. Have your blood pressure checked next time you are at the doctor just in case. Another possibility is that it may be blood sugar related. If it has been a long day and you haven't eaten dinner yet your body could just need equilibrium. Or a combo of the 2. Ask your doctor if you are really concerned about it.
Take care.

Well low blood pressure gave me something similar when I was 19. Does it all just go black? Well if so then that's what happened me. The doc seemed happy enough with it.

Sounds like you got a headrush. You probably just stood up too fast. Have you ever had a migraine headache?

That happens to me sometimes when I first get up in the morning. I have no idea why this happens, but you should try getting up slower :)
