Please go see your doctor darling! This may be the beginning of a disorder for you. Don't be embarrassed about wanting to find help for yourself! You should feel proud of yourself for taking the first step in getting some help! And you are not alone, there are so many people who suffer from anorexia in silence, and I am glad that you are trying to get some help. Good luck!! I'll be praying for you!!!

You are obsessed with your eating. You need counseling to help this stop now. You are depressed and this issue shoud be addressed by a counselor. If we try to ignore the things that bother us it seems they get worse so we should seek help before it becomes a big problem, do you agree? Lots of people have this problem so don't feel alone or embarrassed, just get help and you will see others are there getting help too. There is alot of pressure in our society to be thin which is terrible for young girls to have to go through. A counselor and a nutritionist can get you on the right track. Good Luck!

The best thing to do is to get people to help! Talk with your parents and a doctor, too. Losing your period means that a doctor should be involved.

The best way to stop is, well, to stop! You have to continually tell yourself that you need to eat to be healthy, that controlling your body doesn't help those other problems in life. What's the worst that will happen if you don't count for a day? You'll be fine!

Your feelings about yourself don't match reality, and that's normal for a teen. Don't compare your inner feelings with your vision of other people's lives.

But do see a doctor, and follow orders. The goal is to be healthy, and to feel comfortable in your body.

well usually anorexia is the case when u want to loose weight. and u just might be worrying about your body with out realizing it or wanting to admit it to yourself or anyone else. trust me, i know what this feels like. u might be under weight if u havent had your period for a while. and all of this could be due to depression. i know u dont want help, but you should tell a very close friend that u trust alot. explain your problems and take their advice. it will help. try and work through your problems in a healthy way.
good luck!

Check out www.hufa.org. Your compulsion may be your brain's response to low blood sugar. Seriously.

If you have a doctor, get tested for hyperinsulinemia, a precursor to low blood sugar and lots of other nasty stuff.

Just convince yourself that almonds or peanuts have very little calories, but lots of good protein, so you can snack on them and not gain weight. The medical field is finding out that it is not necessarily how many calories something is, but how fast it converts to blood sugar that determines whether it puts weight on a person.

Go to the library. There are plenty of books that will give you some advice.

This isn't one you can fight alone. For one thing, you can't even see your image accurately in a mirror.

You need to see a specialist. Ask your mom to take you to the doctor for a referral.

No need to be embarrassed. Everyone has issues and this one isn't worth hiding because you will end up killing yourself if you don't get help.

You can try upping your calories to what experts recommend for your height and age, but in the end, you need to not fixate on food and I don't know how to do that without help.

Get help.

Step one: take a deep breath.

If this is truely weighing on your mind, you need to talk to someone. First, tell your parents (either or). Next, see about talking to a doctor or psychiatrist. Stress can be a major factor as well.

Websites no. But go talk to a therapist. Then have a brownie or cheeseburger. Not having your period isn't good. You might have cysts on your ovaries from poor nutrition.

FIRST, YOU HAVE TO LOOK YOURSELF IN A MIRROR AND TO LOVE WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING IN YOURSELF, IN YOUR MIND I THINK THAT YOU HAVE THE CONCEPT OF FAT VERY CLEAR.
