Most likely, it will have no effect on him, but if he starts to act out of sorts, a vet trip will identify why.

Your puppy wil be fine. What most people dont' know is that the instinct to smell and eat #2 is an instict that dates back to wolves. When they smell it, they can identify the food sources eaten by the other animals. If they think there is vitamins left over in the stuff, they will consume it. This one time incident will be harmless to your dog, as long as he is up on his shots. Try to prevent this again, but of course he will want to sniff.

I think a puppy or any dog for that matter has swallowed worse things than geese faeces. I wouldn't worry.

He will probably be alright. But there is one thing you should really check for aside from possible infections that might come out of this. And that is worms, or any kind of parasite. Talk to your vet about having him dewormed just incase. Actually, it is a good practice to get your cats and dogs dewormed yearly, and given flea and tick control every month over the summer months. Good Luck, I hope he didn't catch anything. :)

He should be fine...but if he happens to swallow anything else that could harm him such as the little dry packets from shoe boxes...make him swallow Peroxide till he throws up...it is totally healthy and will not harm him what so ever...i have little yorkie that seems to get in to everything and that is what my vet told me to do...thanks

I seriously doubt he's in any trouble. Dogs have seriously strong stomachs... I mean they eat cat terds all the time, hows that much worse than a goose? Anyway, watch him for the next couple days. If he acts really sick, take him to the vet. :)

As long as he is up to date with his vaccination shots he will be ok,pay attention to his eys, look for abnormal pupil functions and glasseynes. Also his gums make sure they are pink,if they begin to turn a whiteish color, seek medical assistance asap.White means possible anemia,or infection.
