ive fallen in too!! getting a cold butt isnt fun!! i always put it down no matter what, and so does he, but, some guys are so adament on keeping it up!! and some guys just dont think about it....

o-k guys, just to clear it up, i know where the toilet seat should be while the toilet is in use....what would the proper posiotion be if the toilet was in a fraternity house?

miked....do you really think that some where in my 22 years , and after being married for two that i dont know where the toilet seat goes? i asked this question to tease a brain or two, and to get diffrent people opinions on the subject. I didnt, however, ask this because I didnt know and need an answer....calm down, and grow up

if guys should have 2 put it down 4 the women all the time, girls put it up 4 us. guys dont fall in when we needa do our thing so y is it that girls do? whats so hard bout checking b4 sitting?

Proper etiquette states that both the seat and lid must be left down at the completion of use. No one should have to see the bowl. This also removes the "war" between the sexes as to up or down.

My husband has always put the toilet seat AND lid down. I asked him once why he does that, I thought it would be enough just putting the toilet SEAT down, he said, it's a compromise. Both you and I have to lift the toilet lid. Has worked for us for the past 7 years.

Guys should have the toilet seat up while they're doing their thing...Then they should have the courtesy to put it back down! I don't know about the other girls on here, but I've fallen in one too many times!!

I don't like to agree with the women, but the toilet seat must be down. Besides, what if the seat is a little dirty - who wants to see that?????

The toilet seat should be kept down. I dont care what anybody says but it must be down! Its gross to keep the toilet seat up!

While I am a women the answer is fairly obvious to me. Please put the toilet seat down gentleman. Its like opening a car door for the ladies. Also if anyone women has ever got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and felt cold water on there ....woopsy..not pleasant let me tell you ...so please its only one move and so easily done...Thanks

women are more stupid then i thought do you not open a close door before you try to go through it? well why won't you put the damn toilet seat where you want it before you try to sit down how hard is that.
