Quarter mile being a flat-out-run from a complete stop, not a rolling start. There's more than ONE Skyline, as in theres the old school Prince motors ALSI Skylines, the Nissan Skyline R30-R34. For all the R30's theres different types, too, like GTS, GTR, GTS-T; whatever. If you mean the R-30's than check out http://www.everything2.com/index.pl?node_id=1318905

Good luck!

It depends on how fast your going. there are 1320 feet in a quarter mile so at a constant 60 mph that would take 15 seconds. but it seems kinda pointless to just drive down a quarter mile with no destination, just a waste of precious hydrocarbons, that cost way too much.

I really did try to research the question but no one seems to own a stock skyline.

stock they only run mid to high 13's.

As for legality, they are still not legal to import. MotoRex was importing them for a while and selling them for 20-40k above the price they were worth because of importing fees, legalizing fees, and they had to detune the cars to be smog legal. MotoRex has been shut down for a while and the owner was arrested. As of now the R32 and R34 are not able to be imported. The R33 can be but lacks the OBDII sensor needed. Everyone says you can bring it in pieces and put it together as a kit car and all that but it's kinda like how everyones friend or friends friend has one. It's all talk. The said kit car would still not be legal to drive on the streets as it would not pass a lot of tests, especially in California. You could still have one but it takes a lot of money and a lot of time to actually get it done and be able to drive it on the streets legally.

Long answer short. Mid to high 13's. stock.

low 10s depending of the type of engine and the gear ratios that is stock optimizing the stock chip for drag. Optimized for normal driving will run mid 11s. Yes they are not street legal untill they pass emmisions same as in Japan and are fitted with proper safety bumpers and clearances for North American Regulations. On top of that to pass emissions must be retuned and are very few qualified individuals that can do it reason you don't see many of them in North America.

i believe its about 13.8 ot 13.9 seconds. the skyline really isn't a drag car. its more of a twistys track car. Here i found a link for the R33 and R34. one is a 14.0 and the other is a 13.7 respectively as test by car and driver. I hope this helps.
