Most Roman Catholics tend to be pretty conservative - I definitely am!! You might want to read the Catechism of the Catholic Church for more information.

The Catholic Church is the oldest Christian religion, and is the only one that can trace its ancestry back to the 12 Apostles. All other denominations are the result of rebellions from the Church during admittedly turbulent times in the Church's history. The Church assembled the books and letters which now comprise the New Testament, and has an understanding of the Bible as more than just words on a page that were meant to be followed, but as the Living Word of God in our midst. So whether you define "conservative" as having old-fashioned values or as faithfulness to the Bible in its completeness, the Catholic Church is the most conservative Christian denomination (although it is not technically denomination: it is the fullness of Christianity). The reason that this is so hard to accept for so many is that the Church is so misunderstood and vilified.

Let me start with my own. The Baptist, but this all depends on where you go! There is really no uniform degree of conservative thought in the Baptist denomination. It would depend on what you describe as conservative. Baptist can be ultra conservative. If the church calls itself Fundamental Baptist then you are looking at a ultra conservative church were preferred standards are extreme. Things such as women don't where pants and movies and music are evil. Others are more liberal. My church for instance has no issue with shorts being worn to church as long as you are there. My own pastor goes to the movies. It is all in the preferences.

I am a non-denominational Christian and a conservative. The Bible is the ultimate authority for me. No adding and no deleting. Just the plain and honest Word of God without any hypocrisy.

I think that there are conservative and liberal sides to most denominations. I think that Baptists are mostly conservative. I am not an expert on denominations.

Seventh Day Adventist. I was raised one and it doesn't get much more conservative in that. A few examples, sunset Friday to sunset Saturday you can't do much of anything at all...no tv, no shopping, no cooking, etc. Its Sabbath and must be kept sacred. Also, no make up, no jewelry of any kind, no movie theaters, no dancing...and on and on...very conservative.

Try nondenominational. It's best not to get mixed up into religion and denomination. Just get close to God and find a good church home to have fellowship.

It totally depends on the individual churches and pastors. I go to a Vineyard Church which has conservative beliefs.
