Depends on what he's done in the past and where he's going in the future.
Obviously, I wouldn't feel safe with someone convicted of rape or murder or anything like that. Trust would definitely be an issue too, but if you can overcome that, then you should have a very happy future.

Yes... a couple of my happiest years were spent with a guy who had done some time before I met him and I am currently "seeing" a man I love more than my next breath who is currently behind bars. I've known him since I was 15 and his current address has no effect on my feeling for him... You just can't judge a person by a single act, good or bad, you have to look at the big picture.

Yep , sure would, been married to my husband for 7 yrs. The BEST Father and most loving man I ever met , and he was released in 95 where he's been in and out since 71 for murder, escape and u know what I wouldn't change not ONE thing about him. He's gorgeous, a powerhouse, extremely intelligent , ex marine, and yeah Ill tell ya went to jail for killin his brother in law for hitting his sister and breaking his niece's arm so. As far as I'm concerned he's very compassionate and if no one else thinks it .....OH WELL! Now I would never concider a a pedophile or rapist or something similar but other than that I feel like once they've done their time they deserve a second chance ....in every aspect

Depends on the charge. I would say that I would not date a guy who had been in prison in general, though. I hate to stereotype, but I just feel like if I'm responsible enough not to break any laws the first time, then why should I date someone who didnt respect the laws of our society. Its just a bad thing to me.

Some of them think that guys that have been in prison should get a chance to live the rest of their life outside of ( They should get a second chance).

I'd think he has hemoroid issues...or a loose caboose.
Maybe likes salami a little too much?
I would NEVER go with a guy who's been in prison. NEVER!
