...darkness... "God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all."

satan is not the opposite of God, he served under God when he was an Angel, and now is still under God's control because Satan was created by God.

there is no opposite to God, he exists in his own essence, besides an opposite to God implies that there is an equal to God, which is impossible. God exists outside of anything we can comprehend, but the real question is if God exists, what does that mean for my life? Do i need to know him?

Seek Truth, Real Truth.

Since God is Spirit, the opposite of God is matter.

God has no "opposite" because God is unlike anything. God is the only true Being, only true Existence - the "I AM", "O WN", "YAWEH". Everything else is a created thing. How can He Who transcends all being have an "opposite"?

We must resist the temptation to define God in the image and likeness of...ourselves.

God is Love, God is eternal, He is the creator.

So, the opposite would be a short-time hateful destructor.
