Why are girls so scared to have a bf when they haven't yet, I don't get it?????

well having a bf for the first time is a BIG experience. she may be scared to do too much too soon or might be nervous that she isn't a "good" kisser since she hasn't had a bf. she might be afraid that the guy only wants her for one reason. it's possible that she might just be shy.

Its probably because she's freaked out by the idea of being commited to someone. Or she's afraid that having a boyfriend=having sex, if she's a virgin, that can be scarry. I remember being very afraid of having a boyfriend, and I didn't say yes to anyone until my first year of college. Thats how long it took me! But some girls are ready before others..so it just depends on the girl and her maturity level.

Well, in my case, I was scared to go out with my first boyfriend, cause I'm a really really really shy person. But after a while I wasn't so apprehensive about it.

they dont no what to expect. or somethings with her parents It may be akward for her to talk if you are bf and u are used to just friends. just kind of talk to her like friends and say its ok you understand and its ok you are friends. she may trust you more and have more confidence and you can go out later. just be carful if you are to good of friends bf may seem weird. good luck dont pressure girls in to anything ever!

its a big step to get a first bf... if thats what you mean. Its like something you tell your kids about, you want it to be absouloutly perfect and romantic, but it never really is. wow i sound so depressed.

Because lack of experience. That's how it is for me. You want a relationship, but are afraid of being inadequate, not good enough, inexperienced. Make sense?

not sure but it could be cause boys are mean alot of times and shes not ready for a relationship,or she really isnt into boys yet.

i'm not sure if scared is the correct word for it... i guess it is human nature to be apprehensive about the UNKNOWN...

...its either they're scared of the unknown...or its their way of starting the chace to see who's brave enough to hunt them down...
