I have really really short hair not bold but close to it...

Let it grow for a couple of months, then visit your stylist with enough hair for him/her to give you a new style. He or she will teach you how to use styling products to get the wave you want.

Try finger waves. That is when you take gel put it on your fingers and hold your fingers in your hair where you want the waves to be and push your fingers just a little forward and hair dry it that way and keep downing that for a few weeks into your hair gets trained to do that.

Go to the salon and get what they call a partial perm. or you could opt for an all over perm, that's about the only way u will be able to do it. that is if you want it to be permanent , if not use a curling iron.

How short is short? The girl said to braid it, but it might be too short to braid. How wavy do you want it? There are crimpers that make your hair wavy or kinky (really curly).

well if your black put grease and just brush as much as you can the more you brush the faster waves will come, and also let it grow out some but keep it brushed then get a hair cut.

GUYS GET PERMS TOO. I USED TO DATE ONE. HE LOOKED GREAT WITH IT. GO AHEAD AND GO TO A SALON AND ASK THEM TO PUT ONE IN. THEY WILL ASK YOU HOW MUCH CURL YOU WANT SO YOU GET WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. YOU DO HAVE TO KEEP UP WITH IT THOUGH. ANOTHER PERM EVERY SIX MONTHS AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT YOU CAN ALWAYS INVEST IN A STRAIGHT IRON.
I KNOW YOU GUYS THINK IT'S GIRLY BUT I GET TURNED ON BY A MAN WHO ISN'T AFRAID TO TRY NEW THINGS. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

you can use styling gel or light grease or water or oil and ware a stocking cap at night and you will have waves in two weeks.. oh and brush it in a downward struck in the morning

black-you can get a hair kit that guys use it works
white-you can use women shampoo the natural curly kind it works

Get a perm, just dont let them leave the solution on too long...it gets kinky!!!
