God is not a BIG MAN IN THE SKY WHO LOVES AND HATES AND LETS BAD THINGS HAPPEN. God is Spirit, Love, and Truth. In the Bible it says He is of "purer eyes than to behold iniquity," meaning that God neither sees nor made evil. So what is evil? It ISN'T...it is illusion, like the puddle of water in the desert. It needs to be denied. "Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

Yes, He said he is "with us always". He watches those poor, starving children die slowly, he watched his own son die a most excrutiating death, he was there when King David's son raped his cousin Tamara (II Kings, I think , sorry... memory is not too good on the location). He was there when Job lost everything, He was there for the hundreds of years that the Jews were enslaved in Egypt, and He was watching when the U.S. bombed Hiroshima. Let's not forget the years that He was watching all the jews being massacred during the holocaust. I'm sure He's watching the climbing death toll aroudn the world, not to mention he flooded the freaking planet four thousand years ago. I guess somewhere in all that watching, He might have time for one teeny-weeny rape victim.

Everything happens for a reason, good or bad. There's no logical reasoning or answer as to why bad things happen to people.
It's ironic that people claim there's no God, yet they curse Him when bad things occur. God isn't a punching bag and should never be used as one...he doesn't sit back on his big throne and randomly decide, "Oh, I think I'll kill this family off and allow this young girl to be brutally raped."
He's not ruthless and he's not a monster, you should try reading the the Bible; specifically the book of Job. I'm no Jesus Freak, but I do think that people shouldn't speak ignorantly of things they possess limited knowledge of.

God unfortunately See's everything that we have done through all history. Think of the most vile things that can be possibly done to a person God has seen it in some form of that image or another. I am grateful that I do not have to see all of those atrocities. If we had to see all of that it would drive us insane.

Of course he does... God knows everything that goes on. The thing is, there is also evil in this world, but we that believe in God, and serve him, know that "all things work to the 'good' of those who love the Lord", and "there is a purpose to everything under Heaven"...
Maybe this would explain.... I was molested as a child, and it scarred me for many years; however, upon reaching adulthood, I had an opportunity to teach and cancel teenagers through my church, and because of the experience I had went through, I was able to not only "understand" what some of them went through, but also able to "council" them so they could heal emotionally. You cannot very well help someone emotionally unless you've personally went through what they are going through... for instance, if a person lost his legs, and you had both of yours, he is not going to feel like you """"understand"""" what he's going thru, but if you had also lost your legs, he will be able to see your accomplishments, know that you understand, and through you will be able to grow and heal emotionally.
I could go on and on about my experiences, but it would be too long to put in here... but rest assured, God does know, and he cares.

He would actually see the rapist waiting for his victim. But anyway, I don't think there is a god, so the answer is no.

Yes, and if the victim believes in Him, He is right there with her as if He is her father, suffering with her. He sends His Spirit to comfort her, and help her to ease her pain. He gave His Word to ease her mind and help her on the path to recovery.
He also sees the rapist, and grieves for another child lost.

Yes, He does. Of course He doesn't want this to happen, but sadly we are human and humans sin so things don't always go the way God wants.
The rapists get their 'reward' in the end though. burn, baby, burn...

Yes. God could stop it or never even let it happen in the first place but, god is evil (or nonexistent).
