Yes. When Jesus ascended to Heaven, He became the first-born of the dead....and opened the gates of Heaven.

Those in Heaven are more alive than you and I are...we call them the saints, the title belonging to ALL who have entered the Kingdom of Heaven.

This is especially for JackBauer

if you don't believe in anything spiritual why are you in this section?

On top of that there is so much evidence proving Christianity.
Did you know hundreds of people claimed to have seen Jesus a few days after his death. People from all different faiths. If anyone want to check out more ead Lee Strobel's The Case for Christ and The Case for A Creator. They are excellent books, with excellent answers to many questions about doubting God or Christ.

No. It says in Thess that once we die, we are asleep. Once Jesus comes back, its those alive who come first, then those who are dead will awaken.

No souls in heaven right now - there is no reward or wisdom in death and death is our last enemy.

Those who say so want some comfort that someone died and saying that the dead watch over us provides that false comfort.

Yes.

I don't have ALL the facts.

The Bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. (I believe that's spiritual)

However, on Mt of Transfiguration, Christ was with Moses and Elias. They must have been in heaven.

But I believe that most are asleep, as the Bible says, and await Judgement Day.

Elijah. And someone else I can't think of. But I believe that we don't go to heaven until judgment day. If you die you are asleep until then.
