Most humping behaviors are dominance related, not sexual. He is simply asserting his dominance over her. This is a method of communication for dogs, it says, "I'm the top dog." Your female may even occasionally hump your male if she decides to assert herself.

It is a dominance issue not a sexual issue. Try spraying the male with water when he begins to mount the female. There is really no problem if they are both fixed unless it just bothers you.

Why would you want to stop them? If they're both fixed and they're both having fun, I say leave 'em alone!

You can't get him to stop. It has nothing to do with sex. It's a dominance tactic. Fixed or not ,they all do it.
