I am looking for a quite small town somewhere in the US, with small coffe houses and diners. Maybe a small beach. A place where tourists usually don't get to. Just to get away from everybody for a while...just jog in the mornings and read my books quitely.
Any ideas?

Dunedin, Lakeland, Jensen Beach,Lake Worth or Delray Beach, Florida (all cities in FLA) are very relaxing and beautiful places to visit. Tourists do not usually find their way to these locations because they are too busy going to Disney World in Orlando, or to the more famous beaches of the south (Like Miami, Fort Lauderdale, etc). I think you would find any of these cities very relaxing, quiet, and just plain nice.

There are tourists, but it's very small and quiet, beach, coffee, jogging, etc... Santa Barbara.
