OK, I'm gonna be honest here and say that looks are the first thing that attracts me. Yes, a good personality is a must, but that takes awhile to figure out...you can't see it immediately!
But aside from what genetics did or didn't give you, I would say that a guy who is well groomed, nicely dressed, clean and good smelling is always a plus...on a scale of 1-10 a good cologne can give ya a point or so!
After the initial look-over, I like a guy who can carry a conversation, meaning a back and forth dialogue...not him going on & on about himself or "interviewing" me and not telling me anything about himself. Seems obvious, but many aren't good at it!

the first thing i look at is his smile, his smile re-asures me that he is confident in himself, then the eyes, the eyes tell you if he is genuine, sencere. then the personality, it tells you how well rounded the person is, if he is respectful, intelegent and romanitic! i hope this helps you out.
