You can't cross the street while driving a car!

YOU should always, always cross at the cross walk/intersection. Look BOTH ways at least one time. Looking Left then Right then Left again. THEN proceed across the street with caution.

Look both ways several times. Make sure you can walk fast enough to cross the street, if cars are quite far away.

Cross in a crosswalk.
Make sure you have the walk sign or the light is green.
Look left, then right, then left again before you cross.
Walk quickly so you don't get stuck in the middle of the street when the light changes.
