Yeah this doesn't mean your dachshund isn't a purebreed..just not show quality(which if it's just a pet and you have no intention of showing who cares, he'll still make a great pet)

He very well could be pure bred, just could be a breed defect. Not all puppies come out looking like they are supposed to.

He probably is purebred. Dogs are just like people, just because they're not born perfect doesn't mean that they aren't what they are...

i have 3 and they all have diffrent bodies... but they do have one thing in common they all bark all the time
