when i try to enter my state, zip code and some other info i get scrambled info, why?

the word me comes up mf, in anything i try enter my name address or area code they all come up with scrambled letters

It could be because your "Num Lock" button has been disabled. Try pushing it once; if you have an indicator light it will light up. Then try inputting your info again. Num lock changes the way your keyboard processes the info received by the pressed keys.
