i used to be afraid of dyeing. i used to think that death of a loved one would be the end of my spark. i see death as something you do not get to choose. you have a set time and day pre picked for you. i believe in God, through my experiences in life i know he has a plan.. it never makes since when its happening but its always reveled. the hardest thing is to go through it with faith and believe this to will pass. there is always a lesson and a reason, and blessings in disguise.. the bible talks about heaven.. i for one hope to see those that i have loved again, i like to believe our souls will meet again .. especially with those people that pass through your life where the connection is immediate...like a "soul sister or brother" what ever Ive gone on a crazy tangent...i am a "christian" that's in quotation because i don't follow church, i wasn't raised that way, and I'm not a lunatic.. just a person who was lost, and saved. and i know the truth and can no longer be afraid of death

I agree with most of what you say. The bible is the word of God and it tells us that there is life after death. I know that one day, we will be re-united with our loved ones that have died, but only if they were also saved. Death is simply the emptying of a vessel (our spirits leaving our bodies), and therefore, we should not fear dying. I once feared death, until I was saved, now the fear is gone and I rejoice that one day I will meet my loved ones again.
Many people who profess to be Christians will not make it to Heaven because they do not have salvation. Some people think that you can get to Heaven through good works, but the bible tells us that is not so. There is only one way to enter the Kingdom of God and that is through salvation. You must confess your sins and ask to be forgiven, God will forgive all sin and make you clean again. He will never forsake us and is always there when we call on His name. All Christians will rejoice on that glorious day when we join our Father in Heaven. What a great day that will be!

One day I started wondering what if this place we call earth is hell. When you die, the only place to go is heaven. With this train of thought, the younger you die the luckier you are. It may seem strange to look at life this way but it is easier to deal with the loss of children and explain why elderly people are so crotchety.
Perhaps if we all found out that life is death and you don't begin living until you die, the world would be a lot less reluctant to execute people.
Just a thought.

A lot of times, I think your age changes your attitude. Maybe it's your faith that changes it. The Bible says precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of one of His saints. He welcomes us home personally. The bible also says to be absent from the body is to be with Him. Heaven is where He is. Joy, contentment, perfect peace, glory, all the things that are wonderful. How can anyone be afraid? We will be having a reunion with our saved loved ones who went on before.

It could be quite possible but I don't think any of us can answer that correctly.
May we can decide how things will be after we die..
Maybe we can choose if you want to get reincarnated.. or go somewhere to such a place that many people might call heaven.. maybe we get reborn as anything else.. out there in the space.. doesn't always have to be earth..
I think such things go far far far into the fantasy.. everything could be possible.. who knows.. we'll all see one day..

Death is a transition from here to heaven, a different dimension.
This is why it said, to see the face of God you must die.
That's the only way to go to Heaven.

i believe that. you can't choose death. doesn't make sense, but like you said, there's a purpose to it. sometimes it's hard to find the "lesson" in it especially when someone young dies. like when my cousin died, i didn't understand how a young person could die. even now i wonder why. it still haven't revealed to me yet. but then again i think that maybe, she had served her purpose here on earth that's why it was time for her to go. i don't know... look who started rambling. anyway, i think you're on the right track.
