who wanted the divorce? I was young and very immature, but now I'm 35....I feel ready and grown up, but am I deserving? And if so, do I look for a divorced man?

Yes! Absolutely try it again. But don't look for any particular type of man--I mean, don't seek divorced men just because you are divorced.

Remember this: Everyone has a past--that's what makes us who we are. You have learned from your mistakes, you've grown up and now you're ready to settle down. And yes, you are deserving.

If I could only give you one piece of advice it would be to seek out a mate in your circle of interest. Bars are not the best place to seek out someone to spend your whole life with. But on the other hand, if you like to read, join a book club. If you like church, join a singles group at your church. And don't be overly anxious. When the right person comes a long, you will know it.

I wish you the best of luck, my friend. There are good men out there, you just have to be patient.

God bless!

Go ahead my x wife is on her 5th marriage. Not to say that you would do that but it`s ok if you feel your ready for the commitment. My x stays with a guy long enough to drain his bank account and then she`s gone. She has no morals at all. Just make sure your head and your heart are in the right place.
The worst bullshit thing a woman can say to a guy is ( I love you but I`m not in love with you). Most women are more mature than men anyway so you might want to seek someone older but knows what he wants in life. That`s a good start I think. Someone your age as far as men go still have some sort of issues and make a commitment but can`t keep there marriage vows. But in my case that was my x wife. Also watch out for divorced men who harp and talk about there x`s. That`s a sign to stay away from them cause they can`t let go!!

You are the one that has to decide if you have corrected the problems that you had that led up to the divorce. Don't be selective as to divorced/single. There are good and bad men in both categories. Just find somebody that you can stand to live with. Remember the feelings that led up to your first divorce and try to find somebody that can help you avoid them.

No, why screw up a good thing. Stay divorced and by yourself. It will give the rest of us better odds than to get hooked up with a quitter that screwed up our life as a quitter. If you quit once you will quit again. The world is full of them. What makes you think you are any better now. You will find something you do not like or he is not good enough and you will quit on him to. Do us a favor and stay off of the availability list.

Who says you are not deserving?? Start back into the dating game and see what happens, but do not go into it just to get married. Find the one who wants to make you happy and fulfill your life. This is a wonderful time in your life -GO FOR IT!!!

I say give it another try. I think in life we should always have those second opportunities to correct the wrongs from the past.
