NEVER NEVER NEVER use Skin so soft on any animal. It will kill fleas, but only because they suffocate. Any oil based product will do that, but SSS makes them like little dust magnets, they get so dirty and takes an act of Congress to wash it off. Also, if puppy licks it off they can get very sick or die because, just like baby oil it will coat the lining of their lungs. Avon should be sued for advertising this crap!

I've used corn starch (*basically baby powder without the perfume) on my beagle since he was about 8wks old. The vet assured me it was fine. It helps tremendously with his itchy allergies. But, he can't stand the perfume in the baby powder!! lol

Also, believe it or not, Pert shampoo w/conditioner is great for fleas and often cheaper than flea shampoo. It will make his coat extremely soft, though. That's sometimes a consideration.

Good Luck with the little bitty pits!!

Baby powder is not a pesticide and will not harm the fleas but it may cause skin problems with the pup.

Take him to the vet he is too young to be using chemicals on. You would have to wait until he is 6-8 wks to use products from the store but i am sure the vet has ways to do it. You really need to go to the vet b/c fleas can carry various bacteria that can harm him.

Really cheap mouthwash, like the dollar store brand, is a great flea killer and won't hurt your puppies.

Baby powder is harmful and causes cuts. It shouldn't be used on babies even. I would contact your local vetrinarian, they most likely are willing to give you an answer to help your little puppies
