I lost weight really quickly when I drank (at least) 2 litres of water a day and stayed away from carb's and sugar.
I increased my protein intake and felt satisfied after meals.
If you're having sugar cravings, try Chromium Picolinate, it really helps!

The quickest way is to cut out red meats, starches, breads, sugars, alcohal, and sodas.

Eat veggies (salads are good), soups, and drink TONS of water. If you get hungry between a meal, drink water to fill up.

In moderation eat white meats, and fruits (fruits contain natural sugars, and that can put on weight)

Practice portion control. Yes, you'll feel hungry at first, but think of your goal, and soon your stomach will start shrinking and you won't have that feeling anymore.

Eat 5 times a day. A small breakfast. A mid-morning snack, such as an apple. A small lunch. A mid-afternoon snack, such as carrots. A lite dinner. Do not eat any later than 7pm (6pm is better.)

Go exercise for at least an hour a day, incorporating weight training. Weight training builds muscle. Muscle burns fat. You get the idea. It also gives tone and definition.

Good luck!!

The quickest way to lose weight is to starve yourself, but that is the worst way. The question I believe you should be asking is what is the BEST way to lose fat? Weight is not an important factor unless you are very obese. What you should try is a change of diet along with a daily exercise schedule. For your diet don't cut back on your amount of food but rather change the types of food you eat. For your exercise try a combination of weight training along with a session of cardio.

See "quickest way to lose weight" on site below. It may be too fast for you since it works at warp speed but you have to sacrifice to do it. The way that you have learned to eat is responsible for making obesity (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) the number 1 health problem in the world soon replacing hunger and infectious disease. So it is mostly not your fault if you need to lose weight. You are part of this pandemic (epidemic) of obesity.

You need to learn a whole new way of eating. The site below will teach about losing bodyfat, retained water and something else. Plus you learn about anti-water and absolute fastest way to lose weight. Learn everything on it. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not and remain part of the biggest pandemic ever.

Eat 6 meals a day. Biggest meal in the morning smallest meal at night. No carbs after 3pm unless you weight train then and only then should you have carbs after 3pm and that is within 30 mins of completing your weight training routine. Eat a protein with every meal and a veggetable with every meal and your carbs should be slow burning carbs (sweet potatos and brown rice) Weight train 5 days a week and do cardio 6 days a week and cycle your carb and protein intake. Take in about .75grams of protein per pound of body weight and .5 grams of carbs and switch it up every 4 to 5 days (depending on your body type) and drink 1 gallon of water per day. You will drop alot of weight in about 20 days.

Maybe you could try the Atkins diet? If you like meat and cheese it's the thing to do. You can't have any carbs which means you can't have any bread or pasta, etc. I know quite a few people who loose 5 - 10 pounds a week this way. Good luck!
