16. Rabbi Yaakov would say: This world is comparable to the antechamber before the World to Come. Prepare yourself in the antechamber, so that you may enter the banquet hall.

That is what this world is all about, preparing ourselves for the next. The one that Jesus paved the way for in His death upon the cross. Heaven is the banquet hall. Each of us has a choice as to whether or not we'll have a seat at the table. God bless!
