People between the ages of 16-22 many times are very busy in their everyday lives. There is homework, afterschool sports or other activities, time spent with friends and family, maybe a job too. Sometimes it is hard to find time to fit in reading just for fun too.

I would still encourage people of all ages to take time out to read as a gift to themselves. There are sooo many really good books that you could literally read all day, everyday, for your whole life and still not be able to read all the good stuff.

If you get stuck for ideas, go to the library and talk to the reference librarian. They will be able to help you find something that you will like.

Depends, because there are so much you can get in the Internet nowadays. There are even e-books you may subscribe. Again I must it depends, if you like reading then you need to read books or else you don't have to.

I would recommend you to read books, because you may gain knowledge in any place you want (in bed, in the bathroom, outside the balcony, where theres no wireless connection) whereas e-book requires you to use your PC or notebook. In some cases it may be troublesome.

Alot of references and allusions in modern speech come from books and when someone says Yeah is your name ebenezer you will understand why they are asking and you must be a cheap person and if a friend says et tu brute? you will know what he is saying as far as betrayal by reading Julius Cesar. There are tons of references from books used by people every day in the English language is sort of an idea or concept macro.

Yes, you need to keep reading your whole life. Sometimes reading is the only way to experience things you might not otherwise get to experience. It makes you a more well-rounded person.

I believe that people should read their whole lives. Reading stimulates parts of the brain that television, or other forms or entertainment can't.
