He is sure trying to dominate you! Talk to your vet about this problem. Getting him fixed may help. Give him other outlets for his aggressive tendencies besides your feet. Toss beanbags for him to chase. Get a laser pointer and let him chase that around the house. But when he attacks you, the games stop. Yell "No" then walk off and ignore him for a while. If you are sensitive to your cat's moods, you may be able to tell when he's getting into attack mode, in which case you can distract him by tossing a toy for him to chase and attack rather than you. You may want to think about adopting a second cat (of the opposite sex, also fixed) so that he can have a playmate. Then he also will not be lonely if you are out during the day. Two cats will occasionally fight (it's a form of play) or chase each other around, which helps them stay in good shape and makes you less of a target.

Neutering a male cat is an excellent step in helping your young man grow into a loving well adapted household citizen. The main reason to neuter a male cat is to reduce the incidence of objectionable behaviors that are normal in the feline world but unacceptable in the human world.

Ummmmmm...he doesn't think he's the only cat in the house. He thinks your a great big ugly bald cat...that he needs to subdue. LOL Seriously though. Male cats are great feet attackers until about 14 months. Your feet are prey if they are moving and he doesn't have anything else around to chase. Try giving him a moving cat toy to chase instead. Throw a cloth mouse or ball and see what happens.

The best way to train any young kitten or puppy is to teach them you are the boss. If he starts pick him up give a very FIRM NO and either crate him or put him in another room. He will learn that is not acceptable behavior. Also neutering helps.

Get him fixed. We had to do that to our Siamese cause he turned into a little punk, he was the only cat. He is showing dominance over you and everyone else in the house no matter that in our case he's 6 lbs.

Get him neutered and don't play aggressively with him. Rub gently behind the ears, under his chin and on his chest (never on his belly). If he starts to get aggressive during this, put him down. If this doesn't work, have him declawed at least then he can't do as much damage.

Get him neutered. Cutting off his man parts will show him who's the boss.

Have him neutered. And avoid playing any games with him that turn him into a stalker--like chasing a string.
