I am sorry for saying this, but if you don't learn to spell, you will never become and aircraft mechanic. PS, they don't win, they earn a wage. You could start by going to your local airport and asking someone who is working on an airplane and ask them how they became an A/C Mechanic.

The airlines would be your employer, then, and these days they aren't making much money at all, so no matter what you find-out about the pay for an airplane mechanic, I'd look elsewhere for a career.
Airlines today are essentially playing the same role buslines used-to play. Competition's heavy, fuel prices are high and going higher, and business margins (how much profit they can make) are being squeezed.
I know airline pilots who are retraining to fill low-skilled positions in other areas because they no longer feel they have any real income/job security.

well air line mechanics do make a very good living however its not something you can just apply for. you need engineering experience. And there are schools for this trade. you should start looking up the schools in your state. i think that's the best way for you to get started.
