Wherever you shop, you need to be aware of what is a good value. Some things at the dollar store would cost you more than a dollar elsewhere. Those are good purchases. Other things are not particularly good values or are so cheaply made that they are not worth a buck.

There are so many things at the dollar store that you cannot name it all here. There are kitchen utensils like knives and forks (not the plastic ones) and VHS tapes, and pens and pencils, socks, bras, belts, pads, notebooks, bread, 1 quart of milk, 1 quart of o.j., deodorant, makeup, you name it, they got it! The bigget the dollar store, the better!

I like the stationary envelopes, writing paper and labels because they are cheap. There are some small tools and fasteners that do a good job for the price.

I like to buy puzzles for my little brother. Or I like to buy andies there and hot cheetos. I will also buy paper goods such as notebooks and pens and pencils or calendars.
