It is the big mystery. As we live we can see, hear, taste, smell and experience the world as it is. However with death we cannot see beyond the veil. All we see is the body in repose dressed up by a mortician and make up artist. Ever since early man started to bury their dead they wondered what was next. Christians believe that they will go to heaven and be with god. Muslims believe they will be in paradise and have virgins for servants and be rewarded for their work. Pagans believe that we will be reincarnated or go to the summerlands. Every religion has a hope for an answer, but nobody truely knows.

Then there is the question of ghosts. We don't know why they haven't go over but they are here (I believe, I am a ghost hunter and a witch). It is the grand mystery of life, "what is death".

It doesn't fascinate me...
I've had plenty of friends,& family die.
it's a sad truth to life
maybe it's the thought of an after- life that fascinates people
seeing your loved ones again
wondering what really is
after this world?
what is on that plane of existance that we can only imagine
and fear...

It is something nobody understands, and that is what people question. This question will be asked until the end of time, for once you experience it and know the answer, there is no way to tell anyone else.
