I mean if Mohammed was giving the world God's word, why would he have a problem with all the prophets that came before him? Why are muslims afraid of the bible and torah being taught if they claim to worship the same God, unless Mohammed thought he was greater than God. In which case he still would not represent God.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I am well aware that Mohammed originally spoke favorably of "the people of the book". However actions speak louder than words. If Islam truly respects the other prophets why do so many Muslim countries forbid the teaching of the Bible? You cannot say that you respect them and try to silence their message from God. It hypocritical.

Who said he did, no one is quite sure what Mohammed was revealed, he did not write down one word of the quran. Rather after his death his followers later wrote down the text. So although Satan may have revealed to Mohammed the quran possibly thru a demon, he may have also simply taken God's Word revealed to Mohammed and made sure that the followers recorded his lies.

In the same way Satan has used Mohammed as a false prophet he has done the same with Christian translators. He tried first with the Gnostics, failed because God removed the false writings thru the Council of Nicea. Then when Pope Gregory VII added his papal doctrines, the catholic bible (vulgate) slowly got corrupted until God stepped in once more with a man named Martin Luther and reestablished the correct Word. Since then Satan has used people like Joseph Smith who wrote the Mormon's Bible and Charles Taze Russell who wrote the Jehovah's Witness version of the Bible.

The King James Version is typically considered the most correct translation, though it appears to have a few errors, these are little minute things like the difference between is/was.

Firstly, i'd like to thank you for your Question.

Secondly, I Alhamdulillah (all praise is to Allah) a Muslim.

Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was a prophet of Allah conveying to the People the Word of God; The Quran.

It seems that your information is very mixed up and untrue.

The Prophet (salallahu alayhi wa sallam) never claimed to be greater than God!

We accept the old testament and the gosple, and actually if you look into the life of the Prophet(salallahu alayhi wa sallam) he respected the people of the book (jews and christians) very Much, and treated them kindly and fairly.

We infact are the only Religion that DOES NOT reject any of God's Prophets. and infact revere all of them with the utmost respect and honor.

they are the best of Mankind!

I'm sorry that you have been given the wrong information from before, but feel free to ask additional questions. I appreciate your willingness to learn the Truth about Islam.

Their claim that they worship the same God is false. Jesus was the last to be sent by God, no prophets will come after Jesus. If we were really worshipping the same God, they would not want to kill us for not conforming to their method of worship. My God sent Jesus, not Mohammed. If you notice they seem more interested in Mohammed than the god they worship. If you depict Mohammed in any light they will kill you, speak all you want against their god, just do not speak about their prophet mohammed.

The last Prophet was the beloved John of Revelations.

But a prophet can also mean a teacher of God's Word. But no more prophecies from God through man.

Prophets only interpret their concept of the infininate and personalize it into restrictive base scopes confined to the Earthly reality and the five limited senses.
