Southwest airlines is a major carrier to Las Vegas and they flyout of Midway airlines to Vegas. Try their site. Also plan to put in some options for your flights like leaving on different days of the weekm because some days have lower fares going both ways. The site is really easy to use and you can change your travel dats to see if the fare is lower really easily. Also, you need to book well in advance to get the best fare.

Vegas isnt a cheap city to fly into at any point in time in the year. Sometimes Spirit Airlines has good deals from Detroit if you can suppliment the difference in the fare on other airlines and drive that far. If you can book early enough, Southwest operates out of Midway and has $99 each way fares, but those go fast, so you may have to be flexible with your dates.
Book 30 days in advanced to get the best chance at lower fares. Try from Chicago O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW). Sun Country is another discount airline that runs out of Minneapolis and you can get cheap fares there. Again...you'd have to suppliment the driving for the difference in what it would cost to buy the fare.
Stay away from weekends, Friday and Sunday are the most expensive.
E-mail me and give me the dates and I'll see what I can find. I worked for an airline and there are a few tricks most people dont know about finding good deals.

Those Internet sites gave you the best prices. Unless you were looking for someone to buy your tickets for you. No one here will know a cheaper way to go.
