I have a Nikon coolpix885. When I turned it on after replacing the battery, I got the message...?

"Warning!! This CF card cannot be read"

Ive already tried to Nikon website with no luck. Help please?

I tried that. Same screen.

You card may be damaged and you need to purchase a new one. This may have happened if you took the batteries out while the camera was still on.

I think you must have damaged the sectores on the card when you did the bat change.

You'll need to format the flash card. Go to menu, and choose format.
